Empowering Teachers through Materials Development
How to thrive amidst the hype around AI in language education? Some say: “be a better human”, and materials development provides an avenue for teachers to do just that. In this talk, we’ll explore how creation and adaptation of the teaching resources we use to facilitate language learning is part of the very essence of language education. Materials development allows us to showcase our expertise, creativity, and values, and can empower us to keep the “human” at the heart of teaching. Participants in this session will leave with both ample food for thought as well as practical strategies for the classroom.
