Program Learning Outcomes
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Critically reflect on global and local issues related to policy and practice in EMI in higher education
- Apply the content and language integrated learning (CLIL) and other relevant frameworks to curriculum, course, and lesson design
- Describe the distinct language, text types, and ways of creating meaning in their academic discipline and incorporate this into their EMI teaching practice
- Explain key concepts influencing assessment in an EMI course and apply this knowledge to creating an evaluation plan for their course
- Implement relevant theoretical learning to create a course syllabus, evaluation plan, and lesson plan for their own teaching context
- Develop facilitation skills for an active, student-centered, and diverse English-medium pedagogical environment
