Kate Morrison and I presented at the Languages Canada 2022 Conference in Ottawa.
Here’s the session description:
COVID brought about many changes to the way we deliver our language courses.
Online, hybrid and blended modes are here to stay, for the host of affordances they offer, such as accessibility, connectivity, cost benefits, and enhanced learning.
Maintaining high quality in online, hybrid and blended modes of language education is essential to continue the reputation of the Canadian language education sector.
This talk will present several challenges encountered and lessons learned through emergency remote teaching, the transition to fully online language instruction, and the current iterations of hybrid and blended modes.
Here are the slides from our talk.
